Yes. After transcription, download the result as a Word or PDF file with speakers and timestamps.
How is Sprechverlauf different from TurboScribe or Otter?
Sprechverlauf can be tried without an account and without payment details, and if you need more you pay once from €2.99 rather than signing up for a subscription. Speaker detection, chat playback and export are included. Other services may offer additional business features and their own plans or quotas.
Is there a minute, daily or monthly limit?
The free trial covers files up to 10 minutes, 3 transcriptions and 30 minutes of audio per calendar month — as plain text, without speaker separation. A day pass (€2.99, 24 hours), credit (€4.99 for 5 audio hours, valid 90 days) or Pro (€8.99 a month, 20 audio hours) raises that to 4 hours per file including speaker separation. Technical anti-abuse protection also allows up to five transcription starts per hour and files up to 100 MiB.
How long are audio and transcripts stored?
Your file stays on our server in Germany only until it has been processed and is then deleted — after two hours at the latest. We keep the transcript in memory for up to two hours so you can reload the page; without an account it is not stored permanently. If you are signed in, we keep an encrypted copy in your account that only your browser opens and that you can delete at any time. The AI providers operate with zero data retention.
Is it GDPR compliant?
Sprechverlauf is transparent: for transcription, audio is sent via OpenRouter (USA) to an AI provider with zero data retention — DeepInfra or Groq in the free trial, Microsoft Azure with speaker separation. You must check yourself whether you are entitled to process the content. Details are in the privacy policy and terms.
Do I need an account?
Not to try it: upload, choose settings, transcribe. You only need an account once you buy a day pass, credit or Pro — sign-in then works via a one-time link, without a password.
